APL PERFORMANCE BIKES Gary's Evo
Gary’s Evo - You could call this a 99 evo but it’s something more than that!
This was an older than normal bike but it is Gary’s 1st Harley so it is sentimental to him.
Major work on this bike was to remove old primary and old gear box.
Gary’s eyes lit up when I told him we could do a 6 speed gearbox for under $2,000 and a primary.
Gary was happy to upgrade from the standard 5 speed and old starter system.
Gary chose the paint and the handle bars had already been done before it came to APL Performance Bikes.
I started from the back and worked to the front on this one!
The top end was rebuilt and updated with a crane ignition and S&S carburettor.
It really hoots!
